Maisie Law (Editor-in-Chief)
Maisie is currently in her final year of Law and English Literature. Her interests within the law lie primarily in Human Rights and Legal Aid which she developed through her involvement with the Liverpool Law Clinic and her volunteering at Citizens Advice. After graduating, Maisie hopes to go on to study at BPP to gain her qualifying law degree and conduct postgraduate study in human rights law, before hopefully getting an internship at the ECtHR. Ultimately, Maisie is keen to combine her love of writing and law to become a journalist in the legal and political field.

Irene Babu
Irene is a postgraduate student of law from India and a Hodgson law scholar. Her academic interests are mainly in the areas of Public International Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Dispute settlement and Access to justice. Currently, she is also involved in the activities of the Liverpool Law Clinic. After graduating from the University of Liverpool, she plans to go back to her home country and pursue her career as a practicing lawyer. Her long-term career goal is to become a legal aid practitioner and to start her own law firm.

Hollie Clarke
Hollie is in the penultimate year of her Law degree at the University of Liverpool. She has particularly enjoyed studying Equity and Trusts, as well as Land Law. Aside from her academic interests, Hollie enjoys playing the piano, baking, binge-watching a good TV series, and engaging with politics. Upon finishing her degree Hollie is hoping to practice as a solicitor in a commercial firm or open a dog sanctuary where she can make a living by playing with dogs all day!

Georgina Felstead
Georgina is a second year law student at the University of Liverpool. She is particularly interested in Family Law and intends to practice in this area. Georgina is a member of the University’s Law Society as well as Amnesty International. Outside of academia, Georgina enjoys travelling and likes learning about new cultures.

Sarah Iskandar
Sarah is a final year law student at the University of Liverpool with particular interests in Intellectual Property, Commercial, Banking and International Economic Law. Her hobbies include creative writing, reading, drumming and playing video games in her spare time. Upon graduation, Sarah plans to train and qualify as lawyer in both the UK and back home in Malaysia. She hopes to be able to work for LEGO one day!

Viola Parente
Viola is a final year Law student originally from Italy with a distinct interest in International Law. She is currently undertaking a dissertation project on International Arbitration and taking part in related extra-curricular activities. She is looking apply to a relevant postgraduate degree course next year in order to further advance her knowledge in this field of law. Her career aspiration is to work at an international law firm in London and qualify as a commercial solicitor in International Dispute Resolution.

Joshua Coey
Joshua is currently in his final year of Law with Accounting and Finance (LLB). His legal interests are mainly in the areas of international and public law. However, he is also very interested in the law’s influence on politics and its relationship with democracy. Joshua hopes to travel after graduation and eventually pursue a legal career at the Bar. Aside from Law, Joshua has a keen interest history and sustainability.
