EDITORIAL TEAM 2017/18

The 2017/18 editorial team produced Volume 4 of the University of Liverpool Law Review

Titus Teo Guo Zheng

Titus is a final year law student. He is particularly interested in commercial, corporate and international law. Aside from his legal interests, he enjoys discussing politics and finance, as well as going to the gym and participating in sporting activities. 

Gemma Sprules

Gemma is a final year law student with particular interests in commercial law, banking law and international law. After graduation, Gemma will be undertaking an internship at DLA Piper before beginning her LPC in September. Gemma is a huge ‘foodie’ and will always be found in a restaurant or trying out a new recipe! As well as this, she loves to figure skate and travel. Gemma hopes to combine her passions to pursue a career in an international law firm. 

Callum Ross

Callum is currently a third-year law student, hoping to pursue a career at the Criminal Bar in the future. Post-graduation, he will be studying the BPTC in Leeds. His legal interests include criminal, medical and counter-terrorism law. As well as being an editor of the Law Review this year, Callum also organises the Bar Society second-year mooting competition, and will be judging at the Legal Society negotiation competition. Outside of studying, Callum enjoys sailing both competitively and for leisure, as well as watching plenty of football.

Niamh Haughey

Niamh is a third year LLB Law and Spanish student from Ireland. She is currently enjoying her Erasmus year taking law, translation and humanities classes at the Universidad de Sevilla in sunny Spain. Upon returning to Liverpool for her final year, Niamh hopes to pursue her translation, publishing and editorial interests. Alongside her studies she loves cooking, yoga and above all, linguistics!

Victoria Evans

Victoria is currently a second-year law student with a strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial law. She hopes to begin her Masters in 2019 after completing her law degree. Victoria regularly keeps herself commercially aware. Participating in the recent Aspiring Solicitors commercial awareness competition was an experience that she thoroughly enjoyed. Outside of Victoria’s academics, she enjoys going for long walks, attending the gym and going out for food with friends.

Leah Rutley

Leah is a second-year Law with a Year Abroad student from Leicester. She will be studying at the National University of Singapore for her third year, whilst travelling around Asia. Leah is looking to pursue a career in commercial law after her degree. 

Ahmad Mohsin

Ahmad is currently a final-year law student, and will start reading for an LLM degree in 2018. He has a keen interest in the legal disciplines of Intellectual property and Commercial law. While ultimately studying for a PhD in Law, Ahmad also intends to practice as a barrister, thereby exploring a career that incorporates both, legal practice and academic. In his spare time, he prefers travelling and reading on the subjects of spirituality and metaphysics.  

Mansour Elkehya

Mansour is a final year law student who joined the law review to gain a brief insight into academia. He is a practical person with an easy going attitude and loves nothing more than idling about and relaxing. His hobbies include sports and he games like a nerd for hours on end! He is a devout MMA practitioner of 7 years and coach for 2 years. Boxing, Muay Thai, or Jiu-Jitsu, whatever it is, pay him and he can teach you!

Melvin Lim

Melvin is a final year Law student from Singapore, with a particular interest in Company, Banking and International law. Outside of academics, some of the things that keeps Melvin sane and grounded are chats over a fragrant blend of dark coffee, discovering engaging topics on TED Talks and a long yet fulfilling jog at the end of a busy day. Upon graduating from Law school, Melvin plans to head back to Singapore to train and qualify as an Advocate & Solicitor. 

Katherine Traynor

Katherine is currently studying for her Masters in Law, and hopes to commence both the BPTC and ATT at BPP University in 2018. She is particularly interested in commercial, international, and revenue law and hopes to practice as a barrister in the near future.
